FOR SALE:

One Senate Seat. Rarely Occupied. Available in January.

And while I'm at it, if someone doesn't fire those writers for the Chicago Tribune I'm cutting all State funding to the Cubs.

So, Governor Blagojevich, I'm just wondering if you've ever heard of ethics? Was there nothing in your oath of office that mentioned upholding the law?

In case any of you haven't heard the story by now, the Governor of Illinois has been caught trying to sell President Elect Obama's Senate seat, and extorting the Chicago Cubs management. And of course, every one is appalled. I mean who would have suspected corruption in politics is America?

This is what happens when we put people into powerful positions, they try to squeeze every last dollar out of their position that they can. I mean come on, how many people in Washington really care about the welfare of this country. Of course they're all upset about this little debacle, but ask yourself: Is it because they didn't think of it first? Is it because it will be harder for them to steal from you for the next few weeks? Or do you think they really care that this man was trying to augment his income by selling a little piece of a corrupt government to one of his corrupt friends?

I don't know about you, but in my opinion our government need a complete overhaul.
